未來 Android 手機也能一條線變身電腦主機！外界謠傳 Google 正在開發 Android 的桌面模式，如今外媒搶先曝光實際介面。
外媒《Android Authority》通過在 中古收購手機pixel 手機上安裝 Android 16 最新測試版發現，Google 已經悄悄加入「桌面模式」，只要通過連接線將手機與筆電或是螢幕接上即可啟用，並且支援使用觸控板或是外接滑鼠。
《Android Authority》初步實測，Android 原生的桌面模式酷似三星已經推出多年的 Samsung Dex，用戶在下方可以看到一條工具列，可以將常用的應用程式進行釘選，亦能進入類似開始選單的應用程式抽屜，並且支援視窗化的多任務處理，可以將每款 App 以類似 Windows 資料夾的方式開啟，任意調整大小以及挪動位置，並且同時顯示多個應用程式不會強制進入全螢幕狀態。
然而，《Android Authority》表示 Android 的桌面模式仍尚未完成，在 Android 16 正式版推出的機率不高，但可能作為開發者選項在下一個版本開放測試，並希望最快能在 Android 17 版本上線。
